My friend Guy Wallace is one of the most knowledgeable, articulate, and prolific writers in the field of human performance technology (HPT) and instructional design.
Will Thalheimer and several others claim that video is the next text. Guy had figured this out a long time ago. He has been working with videos for several years. He shot, edited, and produced a whole bunch of videos related to human performance technology.
Visit Guy’s locker where you will find two series of videos:
HPT Practitioner series. These are short videos that last for 2 to 10 minutes. They show the wonderful diversity among HPT practitioners and HPT practices.
HPT Legacy series. These are slightly lengthier videos from the thought leaders from HPT’s past.
I am glad I am included in the practitioner series and not in the legacy series–I am too young to leave behind any legacy.
