A New Deck of Photo Cards

OuiSi is a deck of 210 colorful photocards. It is used for conducting different games and activities that foster creativity, build mindfulness, and ignite wonder. The games can be played by children from 4-years old onwards. But they are not for children only; we have facilitated training activities for adults using these cards.

The name of this deck of photo cards is “Yes-Yes” in French and Spanish, pronounced “we-see” in English. The activities are based on the belief that pictures are a language that all of us speak, regardless of age or background.

Each of the 210 photo cards connects visually with the other cards in the deck, based on similar patterns, shapes, colors, and anything you can imagine.

A slim booklet, Connecting with OuiSi, contains instructions for conducting three different types activities:

Unconstrained games to help the players use their imagination to mindfully explore their world.

Creative games to help the players flex their visual-thinking skills. Most of these games involve placing the cards on the table and connecting them with the others by matching them visually.

Competitive games to challenge the visual acuity of the players. A sample game involves imagining a card to be part of a larger picture. Players place this card on a sheet of paper and draw the rest of the picture.
