Reason 1: A broader definition of games. A game involves a group of players interacting with each other under a set of rules to overcome conflicts and achieve a specific goal. With this broader definition, we move away from traditional games to a wider variety of training activities.
Reason 2: A creative approach. Training games make use of creative approaches and require the participants to behave in a creative fashion. These participants think outside the box and go beyond memorizing facts and producing the same type of products. The creative approaches used in training games highly motivate the participants and train them to come up with creative ideas.
